Bearded Dragons are fast becoming one of the most popular pet reptiles in today’s growing reptile pet market. Their needs are simple, but if not provided for correctly, as with any reptile, they can become ill which can result in death.

Georgia Bearded Dragons™ is a small family owned private breeding program. We are happy to share with you what has been successful for us and that you have found our bearded dragons meet your special needs. Our bearded dragons make an excellent addition to any family as a new exotic pet or as an addition to your existing bearded dragon collection or existing breeding program.

Georgia Bearded Dragons™ has put together an owners dragon care manual as an informational guide to help our bearded dragon owners understand the requirements needed in the proper care of their new bearded dragon. This information is being provided as a helpful source of information as there are many varying opinions among different breeders in the industry.

We are not veterinarians, just lovers of bearded dragons. Only your veterinarian can best treat your individual bearded dragon on a case by case basis. The information we are providing is based on what has worked best for us at Georgia Bearded Dragons™. Once you become familiar with your individual dragon, then you can determine what works best for you and specifically your bearded dragon. Each dragon develops their own personalities, characteristics, likes and dislikes and as a new owner you will learn those over the course of time.

We suggest you do some research, and gather as much information about Bearded Dragons as you can in order for you to be able to provide your new bearded dragon with the best chances for a long and healthy life. There are many different breeders offering various opinions and views based on their own experiences in addition to the commercial and retail industry views. There is a lot you can learn from other’s experiences and views.
