We take great pride in the care and health of our bearded dragons and go above and beyond when it comes to the care of our breeders and our juveniles.

BEFORE BEING SHIPPED:

We examine each individual dragon before we ship it. We bathe your dragon before it is shipped based on the following guidelines: We bathe all of our dragons that are approx. 4 months and older, as a routine, as well as before they are shipped. Dragons under the age of 2 months are bathed only when necessary so as not to add extra stress to the shipping process. There may be times when a dragon arrives in it's deli container and it has had a bowel movement. This is usually not a frequent occurance as most dragons will have a bowel movement during the soaking/bathing process before being shipped. Should your dragon arrive with fecal matter in it's deli container this will require you to gently bathe your new dragon in mildly warm shallow water. We ask that if you notice any problems with the animal you receive please contact us immediately.

CARE OF YOUR DRAGON:

We believe strongly in good customer support, and will be happy to help you and guide you with the care of your new bearded dragon. We also provide owners care information, which we have prepared to assist you in the proper care of your bearded dragon. This care information is also listed on our website webpage titled "Dragon Care Manual". We feel that if you follow the care instructions provided your reptile should live a happy and healthy life.

Please be aware that reptiles often require a period of time to adjust to new surroundings. It is normal for animals to be nervous or not interested in eating immediately after being shipped or being placed in a new setup. Shipping is a stressful experience for bearded dragons and this can affect their colorations, temperment and mood. Each animal will react differently to the shipping experience and the change in their surroundings. An adjustment period is necessary to allow your new dragon time to get settled into a new routine, new suroundings and new care givers. We will be happy to walk you through this period to ensure that all husbandry issues are addressed and that this adjustment period does not go on for an extended time period.

We guarantee satisfaction and want you to be happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with the animal upon arrival, we ask that you please contact us immediately upon receipt of the animal to discuss an immediate return, exchange, or the possibility of a refund (Minus shipping cost). Depending on the circumstances or case, we are able to offer an exchange, a full refund, or a refund minus shipping costs or provide a replacement animal. If returning an animal, the customer must make arrangements to do so promptly (within 24 hours) and via the same means the animal was shipped to you. This is crucial to the health of the animal as shipping and being transferred to new enclosures will often stress and compromise the health and well being of the animal.

We will only accept returns on animals that have been quarantined properly. Due to the presence of viruses and parasites in the reptile market, we are unable to accept returns on animals that have been housed with others for fear of contamination. Please understand that another reptile could pass contagion’s that could devastate our entire collection. If you chose to cohabitate your new reptile, any guarantee is void.

DRAGON COLORATION & PATTERNING

Bearded dragon coloration will depend greatly on bloodlines and genetics as well as the type of housing set up, lighting and heating provided, diet, age, stress, etc. of your dragon. We sell bearded dragons with the price adjusted to the level of coloration showing at the time of sale, but we also take into account the future genetic potential of each individual based on their breeding bloodline histories. Young juvenile dragons do not show the same color intensity as an older sibling from the same bloodlines or crossing. It can take juvenile dragons several months and multiple shed periods to begin to establish colorations and patterning. A dragon that is not showing high color is still capable of producing good strong color based on his/her individual breeding history and family bloodlines. All of our young dragons, even the less colored ones, have great genetic potential when it comes to color producing. Each case will vary greatly and will depend on numerous different factors; many of which are not in our control. Some less colored ones can wind up coloring-up very brightly.(We had a customer that purchased a nice little yellow juvenile send us pictures of the dragon as an adult, it had turned a bright red, needless to say, he was a very happy customer). Our pricing reflects what we see in the babies and parents, our knowledge and experiences with individual dragons from the same or similar crossings and represents our best estimate for color potential in the future.

If you are unsatisfied with your new dragon you may contact us immediately (as discussed in the previous section) for an exchange or refund, minus shipping costs, once the animal is returned. Because there are so many factors that play into dragon coloration, we cannot guarantee the color for months or years after the dragon is out of our care. Since we do not inbreed for color, most of our babies develop patterns and coloration that are unique and individual.

Please be assured that we do everything we can to represent our dragons honestly and fairly. Sometimes we have examples of older dragons from the same lines that we can provide so you can see color potential as the dragons get older but this is not always the case. In the case of new crosses (pairs that have not been bred before) we sell according to the color "as we see it" in the babies. We also take into account the genetics, as in the case of dragons being Heterozygous (Het) for Leucistic or Het for Hypomelanistic.

SEXING:

We will do our best to offer accurate sexing on all of our animals. Sexing is not guaranteed in very young dragons, as there can be a margin of error based on developmental changes that can occur in the genital areas as the dragon matures. When sexing younger dragons we will give you our best opinion of what we believe the individual’s sex to be at that time. Any adult dragons that we sell as gender specific is based on concrete knowledge of the sex of the dragon. If we feel we are unable to sex a specific dragon we will inform you of such and sell those dragons as “unsexed”.

CLIENT SUPPORT:

We pride ourselves on giving quality customer support and service. If you have questions about your bearded dragon, please contact us via email or phone and we will respond as soon as possible. We encourage all of our clients to select a qualified herp vet in the event we are temporarily not available to assist you regarding health concerns that may arise during the life or your new bearded dragon. There are many great sources for information on the internet, but there is also a lot of misinformation. Please rely only on qualified, experienced and trained professionals regarding the care of your bearded dragon. We have two great resources listed for finding a reptile specialist vet in your area. Go to our website page titled VET, FOOD, SUPPLY where you can find two websites that will put you in contact with a reptile experienced vet in your area listed by State. One is HerpVetConnection.com and the other is the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veternarians.

If you are interested in purchasing a certain "Color Morph" bearded dragon that we do not have available, we will be happy to suggest other breeders that we personally know, trust and are respected in the bearded dragon breeding industry.

TRADES:

We currently do not accept trades due to health issues and concerns that can involve the passing along of diseases and parasites that can harm our entire reptile collection.

PAYMENT:

We accept Master Card, Visa, Debit/Bank Cards, United States Postal Money Orders only and cash at the Reptile Expos we attend and for purchases made with us in person by apppointment. We also offer the ability for our customers to make payments through PayPal.com (internet sales) where a variety of payments options are available such as credit cards, and electronic bank transfers or e-checks. Internet payments can be made at www.paypal.com or by clicking on the link you see on our website. We also accept United States Postal Money Orders which we require to be sent to us via Overnight or Priority Mail and have a tracking number. This is required in order to protect both parties should a money order get "lost in the mail". We must wait until we receive payment in full to ship. We currently do not take personal checks due to the many fees that are charged in the event of a returned check.

You should contact us first via email or phone before making a payment to make sure that the animal you want to purchase is still available. At times our stock moves quickly and we feel that it is important to make contact with us first before going ahead with an online payment method.

PLACING A DRAGON ON HOLD:

We will hold an animal for 24 hours without payment or a deposit. Once you have selected the dragon you would like to purchase we must receive either payment for the dragon via credit card, via PayPal through the internet, via overnight or priority mail, or a non-refundable $50 deposit to hold the dragon for up to a week while you are making your financial arrangements to purchase the dragon. The non-refundable $50 deposit will be applied towards the purchase of the dragon that you have placed on hold. The non-refundable $50 deposit is to guarantee you the exact dragon you have selected to purchase and to give us peace of mind that the transaction is a good and final sale. Other holds may be considered on an individual basis. Contact us for further information regarding placing a dragon on hold.

PRICING:

Please do not attempt to haggle with us on prices. We do our best to offer very reasonable prices for our bearded dragons. If our pricing for a specific dragon seems high, it is due to the fact that we use the best products available on the market today in the care of our dragons. Also, pricing for older/larger juvenile dragons as well as subadult or adult dragons is generally higher because as breeders we have more invested in these dragons.

WHAT GOES INTO THE MAKING OF OUR "SUPERIOR QUALITY" DRAGONS:

We use Zoo Med 10.0 UVB Fluoresent Bulbs, ESU Reptile Desert Super Coil UVB Bulbs, and ExoTerra Sun Glo Neodymium Basking Spot Bulbs to ensure the good health and great color of our dragons. Our basking bulb of choice is made by ExoTerra and is called a Sun Glo/Day Glo Neodymium Daylight Basking Lamp. The ExoTerra Neodymium bulbs produces a crisp clean "white" light that allows the rich true colors of your dragon to show and is best for viewing purposes. Other incandescent basking bulbs give off a "gold tone" when lit and this can visually dull out the color of your dragons when viewing them in this type of lighting. This bulb does not physically change the color of your dragon, it just makes it more pleasurable for viewing because you can see the true rich and vibrant colors of your dragon in a higher quality of lighting.

We feed all natural fresh greens, fresh vegetables and fresh fruits purchased from the grocery,(not the old stuff the grocery has discarded that many pet stores will arrange to pick up for use on their store reptiles) as well as having a diet rich in protein through plentiful crickets, superworms, and waxworms. We also use the best vitamins, minerals, and calcium supplements available on the market today.

In addition to these supplements we use Parazap as a parasite control. This is an all-natural safe and effective way to control parasites in reptiles but the supplement itself is not cheap. ParaZap is not a cure all for parasites as the only way to kill parasites and coccidia is with medications such as Albon or Fenbendezole (Panacur or Safeguard for worming). The concept of Parazap is if used regularly we have found it increases the appetite of your dragon. With an increased appetite your dragon will eat more heartily which will cause him to poop more often. The passing of fecal material keeps the bowels well cleansed. Many of the parasites and their eggs are expelled with bowel movements. This aids in the prevention of a parasite build-up but does not prevent parasites from existing in your dragon.

We use a deworming medication three times a year as a precautionary treatment for our sub-adult and adult bearded dragons. We do all of this because we take great pride in our bearded dragons. We only want to offer you a dragon of "Superior Quality" and health compared to many of the lowe quality bearded dragons that are currently available at many pet stores and in others areas of the reptile market, including on the internet, or from multispecies jobbers that attend reptile expos.

We stand by the old saying, “you get what you pay for”. Be aware that others offering cheaper animals are very likely only giving that animal as minimal care as possible until they can make the sale and turn-over their inventory. The less money they tie up in an animal the higher their return.

Our bearded dragons are bred from some of the finest breeding stock available. We know that the health and breeding history of our dragons is far superior than anything that may be purchased at most local pet stores.

SHIPPING:

All animals are shipped overnight next day service Monday-Wednesday, via UPS. Depending on your city and zip code shipping delivery times will either be 10:30 a.m. or by noon. We will not ship a dragon to an address that only offers "end of day" delivery.

We also ship via Delta Dash which enables you to receive your dragon within hours of it being shipped from our location. Delta Dash is an ideal method of shipping when there are weather related concerns, temperature concerns or due to the high value of the animals being purchased. It is well worth the extra shipping cost to utilize the Delta Dash services. If shipping is done via Delta Dash this will require you to pick up your dragon from your local airport Delta Dash office. Shipping via Delta Dash is only available to cities served by Delta Airlines or Delta connection carriers.

When placing an order, shipping dates must be arranged so that a responsible adult is home to accept and unpack the dragon upon arrival.

Shipping costs will vary for UPS overnight service depending on your geographic location in relation to our location and the weight of the package and the size of the package. Due to the high costs of fuel that our country has been experiencing UPS and Delta Dash have added a "fuel surcharge" to the cost of shipping, and in the case of UPS, they have also added a "rural surcharge". This has caused an increase in the shipping costs we must charge our customers. Because of the increase in shipping costs we have changed the size of the box we use for shipping. We have gone to a smaller box to help reduce the cost of shipping that our customers incur.

We previously used a 12" x 9" x 6" box but have now changed our box size to a 7" x 7" x 6" box. This has made a dramatic difference in the cost of shipping dragons. We are only able to fit two deli cups in the smaller box. If purchasing a group of dragons, depending on their (size, age and weight), shipping costs will vary and a larger box will need to be used.

Shiping costs for Delta Dash service is a flat fee per box whether you are purchasing one dragon or multiple dragons.(call us for pricing as Delta changes this from time to time) With the higher costs of shipping overnight next day delivery via UPS you can see why it is much nicer to have the option of shipping Delta Dash.

Shipping costs only cover the actual charge that the shipping company charges us for shipping your box. It does not cover items such as the box, packing materials, heat packs or cold packs if needed. Because of the high cost of shipping due to the rise in fuel costs we have decided to absorb the cost of the boxes, packing material and heat packs.

Tracking numbers are given to our customers when their dragon is shipped via UPS, so you may track your shipment online at UPS.com or through an automated phone system.

LIVE ARRIVAL:

All of our animals are extremely healthy at the time of shipping. Live arrival is guaranteed. This guarantee is void if someone is not home to receive or sign for the package as arranged. We cannot guarantee an animal that has been sitting in a box on your front porch all afternoon. In the extremely unlikely event that your animal is DOA (dead on arrival), we ask that you please contact us immediately before taking any action. For claims purposes, do not throw away the animal or box. We must ask for proof via photos and/or return of the DOA. If you do not contact us immediately before acting, we will be unable to refund or replace your order. Packages are shipped insured and the shipping company will have certain requirements that will have to be met if making a claim on a DOA, injury or other claims. They may require the actual box used, packing materials and items that were shipped to be inspected. Failure to provide these items should they be needed or requested will void any guarantee.
