Example of a Plate of Food for Dragons

We wanted our customers to see an example of how we feed our dragons. We use regular plates (saucers and salad plates) as well as deli cup lids which make great plates for smaller dragons. The foods used in the salad pictured here are fresh collard greens, grated zucchini and strawberries. We also use grated yellow squash, grated peeled sweet baby carrots, turnip greens and mustard greens. There are other varieties of dark leafy greens that can be given to your dragon as well as other vegetables, and fruits. When adding a certain new veggie or fruit to your dragon's feeding routine we recommend only adding one new food to the routine at a time. We also recommend that you wait approximately two weeks between adding new foods to your dragon's eating routine. This is to give the dragons digestive system time to adjust to the new food being offered.
